Lightbulb AQHA Discount Question!

Hi guys,

I just ordered a new Lariat that should be ready in 5 weeks or so. I graduated from college in May and am now in the military so I qualify for both discounts.
If I join the AQHA now, will I also be able to recieve the $500 savings in addition to my other 2 discounts???

I would love to think that I would be, but it just sounds too good to be true- that would be $1700 in discounts!!!

Thanks...

I think the only restrictions on the AQHA are that you cannot use it with certain plan pricing, X, D etc.

So I think you're safe, ask your dealer to be certain, and don't delay on signing up for AQHA, you must be a member for 30 days before you take delivery to get the rebate.

AQHA and X Plan

It's been posted in the past by people who are "in the know" that you cannot get the AQHA rebate with x-plan. I've even seen it stated in writing somewhere as well.

As I also have suddenly taken an interest in Quarter Horses, I was bummed to hear that I won't be able to use the rebate with x-plan. No worries because my dealer will give me invoice price instead, which in my case, is only $59 more than the x-plan price.

Today, I'm at the dealer and my salesman enters my truck (which is bucked and should be built tomorrow) into the Smart VINCENT system and it produced a document which tells me that my three rebates (owner loyalty, commercial and AQHA) are "compatable" with my X-plan program. I have the document that states this in front of me.

I'm still skeptical however, until the deal goes through. We'll see when I take delivery. I'll keep you all posted......

Correction

After digging deeper, my salesman confirmed my suspicions - the AQHA rebate is not compatable with X-plan. I knew this already, but when he punched it into the system, we said that it was. Just goes to show ya, you can't believe everything you read. Even off the Ford site.

He tells me we'll just go with the invoice price, which in my case is just $59 more than X-plan, so that I can take advantage of the rebate. Pretty generous seeing that his dealership will miss out on a nice holdback for selling at X. I can't say enough good things about my dealings with him, so far. I wish everyone the same luck. If anyone in the D.C area is having trouble finding someone good to work with, let me know and I'll put you on him. Just think, I've already educated him on the '04..... He's almost one of us now!

I expect my truck should be rolling in any day now.

My sincere condolences to those who have been waiting forever. I just don't know how you do it.

BREWDUDE,

I've been following your bizarre saga and, man, do I feel for you. Hopefully something good will come out of this for you after all.
You've more than paid your dues. They owe you!

My truck was seems to have been built last Thursday and since I'm just a couple of hours by truck from Norfolk, it will allegedly arrive this upcomimg week. But after what's happened with you and others, I realize that anything is possible.

Clem..all I can say is good luck and I hope you dont have the problems I'm having. Seems like you wont, most guys real close to the factories seem to get there trucks pretty quick after the build date. I cant wait to see pictures.

Dante,

I am in the military also and I am sorry to say but the AQHA is not compatible with the military rebate. I confirmed this at two different dealerships before I bought my truck. Save your $30 for something else.

jdautel- My dealer said the military + AQHA was compatible. I hope they are correct. Although it doesn't look like I will be buying before Dec 1st (military discount deadline)

Clem- What dealer and salesman are you going through. It is hard to find someone knowledgable in our trucks. It seems most of them just know the sales process and not the product they are selling. They really just try to BS their way through.
