AUXILIARY FUNCTION: Factory Radio

has anyone deciphered how this works or how it is enabled?

how about figuring out which pins are the input lines behind the radio unit?

'thought I'd ask before I dive into another research.

Would this input work for a hardwired XM setup. I dread going with a modulated one.....

OK. I will dismantle the radio out of my STX and find out what pins on the jack and what type of MOLEX connector can be used to install a banana or headphone jack somewhere so portable devices can be conveniently plugged in.

Hopefully it will be a simple one.

Surely keep us posted. Good luck

BTW what radio do you have in your truck? My assumption is the 6-disc, is that correct?

Hey Red, while you are back there with your radio, can you tell me which wires are the speaker wires and power/ground/remote for an aftermarket sub install?
