Thumbs up

I had my dealership install the code alarm "Ford" Silver system. If it is the code alarm system and it is installed at the
dealership,it should
be covered by the 3 yr/36000 warranty as it is with mine. It works fantastic! It's range is around 1500 feet and let me tell you, it actually is good for that!

Arrow

No, it does not signal the remote. It cost me 275.00 at the dealership. It does acknowledge the start with a horn beep.

Do you think a remote start could turn on the heated seats too?

Can the switch for the heated seats be left on or is it one of those that reset when the ignition turns off?

does anyone have any idea how long it takes the dealer to install remote start? and does it work from 1500 feet like people say? I was going to get just the starter, which they said was $184.00 plus $57.00/hr to install---ziebart has one installed for around $295.00 and works 500 feet ----is it a better idea to get the one from Ford and does it go under warranty if you have it installed before you take delivery on the truck? thanks for any info

I had the dealer install one, they had to send it out as they don't install them. Don't know how far it works but I have never been farther than 200 feet so it works at least that far. I think the cost was around 275 or so, I had the dealer throw it in on the deal. Used to live in Minot ND they are so worth it.
