BIGMACFX4,

Could you please give me my first update on my long awaited VIN#? Won't ask again for a week and a half.

Thank you,

Thanks! Oddly enough, the dealer told me that her computer shows it will be built week of 10/20. So in that instance, the dealer had future info before the VIN checkers. I guess it is possible for more info to be out there, even after the VIN check. But she said that date can move. So if it is six days from blend to build, I guess it could move up. I just hope it doesn't move back.

I know. Now you guys can stop listening to my whining. I keep wondering if there's a secret "Make Guigster Stop Whining" e-mail going around.

I will definitely bring closure to the situation by posting pics. Another guy had a similar exterior to mine (True Blue FX4 Screw). But the interior will be vastly different. It will be the first views on this forum (that I've seen) of the black sport cloth 40/20/40. Have yet to see anyone with that post pics.

Come to think of it, I do recall seeing a thread about the whiners. However, my name was taken off that list when I finally received mine... as I suspect yours will be, too

Can't wait to see your ride !

I have not yet begun to whine. I just ordered mine last Friday so I'm still warming up....

Can somebody define what all the terms mean (blend date etc.) Some are pretty self explanatory but other leave me stumped.

There was a very long and informatvie post out there a week or two back by XCR440SP. Though I don't know where it is at the moment. And I don't know what it was titled.

I read this post but I think it has more to do with how trucks get scheduled to be built. My questions are what all the dates mean when you run the VIN number. Maybe I'm confused....
thanks
