2004 Fx4 Temp Reading

Those of you with a 2004 FX4 I have a question to ask. Has anyone else noticed the time it takes the temp to update to the correct reading. On my new truck (BLK SCREW FX4) it updates about 1 degree a minute as compared to the last years truck and all other vehicles I have seen with a outside temp reading that update within 30 seconds of starting the vehicle. Currently when I get to work the temp is around 55 F as read on the display in my truck. When I leave work the display starts off at 55 F and slowly comes up to the outside temp of around 80 F. It take me about 20-25 minutes to get home so that is how I came up with the 1degree-1min ratio. Does anyone else have this going on or has anyone heard of the fix. I did adjust my compass zone and do a calibration in a parking lot (instruction in owners manual), but that did not fix it. Thanks for any feedback.
