New FX4 & 2003 Expy

I just happened to be in a spending mood last Saturday, and picked up a 2003 Expy. This is the GM's black FX-4 I told you guys about last week.

it looks good, but man, the pics still don't do it justice...

(Notice all the F-150 Supercrews just above the tailgate in the pic?) They're not as rare as I've been told, not in Dallas anyway.

Yeah, I traded the old 2000 Expedition in on the 2003- but, the good news is, my Mother-in-law went and bought it 3 days later- so it's still in the family.

Think I oughtta sell her back the rims?
I can't believe she wants the dubs on it- then again, it looks sick now with those 17's back on it. Sick-sick-sick, I tell you.

So Bighersh, let me get this straight. You traded in your Expy, they marked it up and sold it to your mother-in-law.

Hmmmm.....!!

I think I'll just LMOA!!!!!!!!!!

I feel you Clem- Trust me....

I tried to sell it to her person-to-person, but she was determined to hold on to her Gran Marquis. I told her- (I know where you can get an Expedition real cheap). My Payoff was $15,900. She thought that was too much.

Well, that was Saturday.

Sunday, we were talking about it, and she was like- "I don't know, my car may be breaking down, but it's paid for." Sunday evening, it broke down and stranded her on 75 Central Expressway. If you've been to Dallas, you KNOW that's the last place in the WORLD you wanna get stranded, second only to being stranded in Butt-Tussle, Alabama or somewhere.

But, anyway- After AAA towed her in, she called me and asked- "Do you think they still have it on the lot?" I said I'm sure they do. 36 hours later, she had the GM fixed, and the 2000 Expy was in her garage. They tried to rip her, but I wasn't having it. They gave me $14,000 then "found" another $1,000 in it, and gave me $15,000. They had it marked at $19,995- but when I got through with them, she got it for $17,500. Not bad.

Not buying it from me costed her about $22.00 a month, but- now that I think about it, she came out better because now she has a 3-year, 100,000 mile warranty. Something I couldn't give her.

Hey nice truck. Looks like you tinted your front windows, if so what's the darkness of the tint?

2004 Truck's not mine, the yet unprepped 2003 Expedition is.

I's just completed a 48-hour test drive and was about to buy the Expy, when the GM (That I met last week) drove up in his 2004 Screw. I snapped a few Pics since I just "happened" to have my digital camera with me. :^)

Now, my Old Expy- I had 35% on the front, and 20% over factory privacy glass- so it was REAL dark; I did the same on our Screw.

Mother-in-Law has my black Expy now, without the 20's...
I'll probably give them to her, since she's gonna keep my little one for us, saving us $$$$ in daycare.

Sounds like cheap day care to me.
