Introduction

Hi, everyone. I've been reading the posts on this board for some time now and wanted to finally introduce myself.

My wife and I checked out the 2004 F150 a couple of weeks ago and are still drooling...

What's more, I've always been a GM guy, but there is no doubt in my mind that Ford have really raised the bar and have the best truck on the market with this new 2004 model. It's definitely our plan now to get one. We've wanted a truck for a long time and have been looking for way too long. We test drove an FX4 and love (extremely close to) everything about it.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll have some questions from time to time. You all seem to be a great group with some really helpful suggestions.

Cheers.

I have heard lots of review people say," Ford didn't just raise the bar, they got and threw it into the field so the competion could look for it."

Get the popcorn ready, might take awhile.

I love that! I actually just heard something similar...something about them throwing the bar into the bushes for the other guys to search for. Essentially the same thing. I really like that.

In my book there is a lot to be said about a company that makes the advances first. It's one thing to make a good (or even an excellent) product based on what someone else has done; but to be the first to push the limit deserves a lot of credit. Ford are definitely due credit for what they've done with this truck.

Also, thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Cheers.

All right... I decided to change my username as the FX4 is what I'm planning on getting when I will be buying the new Ford truck around the middle of next year.

No more vertigo444... I'm now vertigoFX4!!

Cheers.
