Talking 04 SuperCrews in Dallas/Ft. Wort Metro

I went to ford direct.com to price a 04 SuperCrew and it says that there are 2 (maybe more, just to lazy to look) 04 SCrew's in Town East Ford. One is a FX4 and the other a Lariat 2WD thats looks to be almost fully loaded. If there's anybody in this area that would like to come down and take any pics. I would go myself but I don't have a digital cam yet.
By the way, I was hoping you guyz and the gals that are in here would help me find a solutuon. We're deciding between a 04 Expy E.B, or an 04 F-150 Lariat both fully loaded. You see we have an 02 Explorer (one of the very first to come of the line; even though we got it a year later at an excellent price.) I realy love the Expedition and I also like the F-150. SO this is where the queston comes in. What should I get? We don't need any of them, it's just that we like them. I mean we're only a Family of four, but when we got to Mexico, we pask a whole lot of stuff, and it will barley fit in the Explorer, plus we go to cramped. so what do yall think i should get.

Doubtful-

I went to Middlekauf Ford/Plano and I spoke to my buddy up @ Bob Tomes Ford/McKinney, the sentiment is there'll be no widespread availability of the SuperCrew until October/November at the earliest.

They've seen them at their ride & drives, but none on any dealers lots...

more power the better lol but that's just me... i always get the biggest engine option... plus, although I haven't test driven an 04' just yet, I hear that the 4.6L is underpowered... so it seems that you might want to go with the 5.4L

SuperCrew Doubtful?

I just sat in 2 of 4 Screws at one dealer her in AZ, for what it's worth. Really like the space in the Screw. Some of them had 20" wheels on them and they looked great.

Go with the 5.4L. Better engineering, variable valve timing and three valves per cylinder result in more power for the same fuel burn.

How about we nominate this engine for the 05 Mustang! I heard that with a blower the SVT folks are seeing over 560 horsepower!

Sam Packs 5 star Ford in Carrollton's website says they have 21 2004 4x2s. Go to http://www.sampacksfivestarford.com and do a new vehicle search. I may drop by today after work on the way home.

I looked at 2 last weekend...

Prestige Ford in Garland had 2 Screws on their lot last Sunday.

Both were Lariats, if I recall. One was black, the other was dark toredor red.

The key word in that sentence is "widespread".
I'm sure they'll be onesy-twosy here & there for a while.

I just would think you'd find more trucks in the city (Where they sell more) than you would in the little towns.

Texas should be inundated with F-150's by now, even though the official release date is 9/4/2003.

Fergus Falls, MN dealer has a Black SuperCrew XLT with bucket seats.

This truck looks huge compared to the SuperCab. I like the style, it definitely has a truck feel to it, whatever way you look at it.

I don't like that Dealer. I have had too many bad experinces with them. Ex.: We were going to buy a 2000 Ford Focus. They want ot charge me nearly 8000 over MSRP. Tarde in was about 4000 though. Too bad I didn't know how buy cars back then.
