Time to cancel my order.
Time to cancel my order.
With all the build troubles with this truck, even if I keep my order in I still don't even have a Build Date yet. And that's withOUT the stupid moonroof or two-tone or bright tubular running bars.
That means I'd get my SCrew Lariat sometime in late Oct./early Nov. AT THE EARLIEST.
Forget that. I want time to enjoy my truck, not get it and then leave the dealership as snow starts to hit.
I'll cancel my order tomorrow night while I sit at work all night while the door repair people fix my security door at my store. It'll give me something to do, leave a nice long message for my dealer...
Thanks for the speed Ford, I'll re-order for Spring delivery early next year. Heck, I'd probably still get it sooner than my current order, after seeing all the posts on this site.

Things aren't that bad, I think things are ahead of schedule there is just a high demand for the trucks. I rember back a few years (as recent as 1998 models) where intro was the first week of October and we wern't allowed to sell any trucks until 2 weeks before intro. We'd usually have a couple come in before this that said "NOT FOR SALE" where the price should be and they'd have to sit. We'd get window stickers in the mail (and MSO's) on the start sale date. Usually it would be mid October before we had any numbers.
