Has anyone seen an F-150 with a moonroof yet? A local dealer said when he tried to order one, the computer told him it was "not available". I pretty much blew him off and am waiting to hear otherwise.

 

I have a 2004 Lariat 4x4 Screw ordered due in sometime during the first two weeks Sept., supposedly. It has a moonroof on it. The dealer said that there isn't any holdup for this accessory.

He said there is a holdup on the premium Goodyear tires in 18" although.

 

I can't remember if all of them had moonroofs on them, but when a dealer showed them over at the Western Heritage museum over in OKC, I think it was the black Lariat that had one.

There they can actually build a 04 F150 and it will show them all the options INCLUDING the moonroof. However if you get the moonroof you will not be able to get the overhead rail system for the little storage boxes. Of course you’re dealer may not know about them yet either.

Better yet, how about you go in to your dealer and sit down with him/her and have a class with the site above. They can learn some nice things about a new truck they should ALREADY KNOW…

 

If you were trying to order a regular cab. This makes sence. Because you can only get a moon roof on Super and Crew cabs, on XLT, FX4, and Lariat models.

 

Nope, it is an FX4 Supercab. Your right about the classes. Most dealers know little to nothing about the truck and keep trying to educate me on what I all ready know.

 

just came home from looking at 5 new ones on the lot at Keho Ford in Jefferson City. 2 have moonroofs, 1 is a white lariat (black interior) and the other is a blue FX4. both supercabs. He also has a black XLT supercab, a blue regular cab FX4 and a red reg cab XLT. Everything looks great about them except those cheesy hankook tires on the XLT's.

 

Yes, it is always fun embarassing the salesman when you show that you know more than him

 

I already have taken delivery on mine and it has a moonroof and the premium 18" goodyears.
