3-4 weeks more for Supercrews
Per the owner of Grand Prairie Ford here in North Texas, it will be another 3-4 before the dealers receive any Supercrews.
He did not advise why, nor did I really have time to ask (my 5mos old was getting restless
)
He did however have 4 extended cab 04's on that lot. Little disappointed I must say.
However before I make judgment I want to see a Lariat Supercrew.
My dilemma is he was told me I could get into an 03 250 Lariat FX4 Diesel for less then the 04 150.
What is a guy to do?

Not sure about all dealers , but many are not really well informed at the salesperson level or the mangement level. Since you chatted with the owner mayb he has good info?
I talked to a sales guy on a saturday morning 8-16. After he said about 4 times there was no real deals on the Harley Super crews on his lot , I asked about the 2004 F-150.
I was really interested in the 04, but I was curious if they would deal on the Harley units. No deals , yet
The sales guy says NO 2004's for 2-3 weeks yet. I mentioned that other dealers in eastern sates were recieving them.
He called me on tuesday morning 8-19. They had 3 new F-150's coming off the trailer. I guess his information was wrong.
I looked at 3 different 2004 trucks on monday 8-18 in the back lot at a different dealer from the story above.......after that I am chatting with my buddy that is a service rep at this dealer. A sales guy over hears the conversation and asks me if I would like a call when the 04's arrive? I look at him and tell him there are 3 in the PDI area out back. He had no clue the trucks were arriving.
We are waiting to see the new 2004 super crews. I will not buy a 03 Harley unit since we have a 2001 Super Crew Lariat.

Dealers know less than we do. I think they make ***** up so they don't sound stupid by saying, "I don't know." Take nothing a dealer says to heart. We should put a ban on posting rumors to this web site. So far none of them have been true and people, including myself, have been getting in a huff over nothing.
