04 Supercab, six inches bigger claim??

Everything I've read has mentioned the regular cab and Supercab being six inches bigger for the interior specs.

In looking at the leg room specs, here's a comparison. I'd say the six inches larger appears to be all hype and marketing spin.

Since Ford doesn't have a true foor door 1/2 option with a 6.5ft box, I was hoping the Supercab had six more inches of rear leg room. I won't be buying this year I guess.

2003 F150 Supercab (Total leg room 73.1)

Front Leg Room: 40.9 in.
Rear Leg Room: 32.2 in.

2004 F150 Supercab

Front Leg Room: 41.3"
Rear Leg Room: 32.7"

Wasn't alot of the 6" to be used to recline the rear seatback so it's not straight vertical against the back wall?

I wouldn't be so quick to judge. The first number is the max legroom with the front seat all the way back. The 2nd number is also with the front seat all the way back. If you don't have super long legs, you'll have the seat up a few inches. Just check it out at a dealer and try it out before deciding. Sit in the front and adjust the seat to your comfort. Then hop in the back and decide for yourself. The seat back angle did get most of the extra 6".

23 deg. angle

What I found out is that the seat is inclined in a 23 deg angle for more confort. In the past the seats were almost straigh up. My children will like this because they had a hard time sleeping in the rear back sit because it was to straight.

I think most of the 6 in. are use in the reclining of the back sit.

It's your truck. Why are you worried about the people in the back seat?

I think the extra 6" were for the behind the back seat storage. So it wouldn't really effect the leg room.

Ever sat in the back of a Tundra Extended Cab? You don't want to.

Trust me, those added six inches that allow for a better angle for the back seat will more than satisfy.
