Just received the Feb. '03 edition of Automobile magazine. On page 22 is a picture of the new F150! It looks better than anything I've seen to date, as it must have been taken for an ad or some kind of promo. If I could, I'd scan it for you guys, but since I bought a new computer with XP...my scanner doesn't work. Maybe one of you can buy the mag and spread the picture around. The truck looks much nicer than any of the drawings or the spy shots would lead you to believe. Its very 'Ford-like'. No big gaping mouth like the Dodge, or smiley face like the Chevy. There's also a shot of the Lariat dash. Very un-truck like! There's a center consle with a shifter in it! REALLY looks nice!
Hate to tease you guys, but hopefully someone else can post the pics.

 

I guess i'll have to see if i can find a copy of the magazine to see it for my self.

Sorry! My scanner isn't working. There's a 2005 Mustang on the cover and an article about it, with photos, inside too. (more teasin) Wish I could do more, I just hope somebody with a working scanner shares it with everybody here.

 

Wish I had the magazine... my scanner kicks butt! LOL!

Got a Kinkos nearby??? Just run in and use one of their computers to scan it onto a disk. You could even post it online from there. The computer time would only cost you a couple bucks. Your local library may even have a scanner...ours does.

These magazines arent out on newstands yet, at least not here...I checked. Subscribers always get them first.

Ready for these excuses? I live in the sticks...Don't have a clue where the nearest Kinkos is, plus my cd drive isn't working right! There is a local printer I know of, if I can break away from work I'll see if they can do it on a floppy.

 

Take that new computer back and get a new one with a cd drive that works so we can see it. I went to a magazine store today and all they had was the Jan issue, so we still need you to post it

 

I brought the mag to a printer today. Hopefully tomorrow they will E mail the scan to me. I don't know how to post it here, so if one of you gives me your E mail address, I'll buck it off to you for posting.
My CD drive works, but the computer doesn't recognize it. I had a program in it (from 98) and it was acting screwy. When I went to erase the partially installed program, I must have done something to the computer's ability to recognize the drive. I tried working with Gateway over the phone, but they couldn't fix it. I'm gonna have to bring it to their service center. This windows XP is a real problem because I can't run any of my 98 sortware. I might have them wipe it out and install 98 for me.

 

Sorry to hear that your computer is acting screwy. My new one has been fine so far. I went from a IBM with a 400 mhz AMD processor and only 8 gigs of hard drive space to a 1.8 Pentium 4 Dell computer with all the goodies. The IBM was running Win 98 and my new one is XP. I got a program called Alohabob PC Relocator. Just hook the two computers up with a USB or parallel bridge, install the software and go. I am running many of my old programs on my new computer. Hope you can get yours fixed without having to go back to Win 98...I love XP.

Well...you're not gonna like this, but my printer is having software trouble with his scanner! He says that its looking like Monday til he fixes the problem. I'm sorry (makes me look like a jerk) When he gets the pic to me, I'll send it to you guys. That's the best I can do.

 

thats ok I forgive you and them. I read in another post it will be unveiled on the 6th any way. I give you an "A" for effort.
