Connecting Aftermarket DRL's

Hey everyone! I bought a set of replacement headlight shells that have a row of LED's in them to use as DRL's. Everything I have read says to connect them to the Park lamp wire, but I don't want to have to turn on the park lights (and forget to turn them off!) to use the DRL's. Where would you recommend connecting them so that they come on whenever the truck is running?

On my '99 the easiest way to get DRL's was to buy a relay from the Canadian F150 and install it in the dash. Maybe something similar is available for you. Can't help you otherwise.

Got it figured out! I just ran the power wire in side the cab and connected it to the ACC wire going to my radio. Now, any time the truck is running the DRL's are on!

These 1-piece HL shells replaced the stock 2-piece HL and Turn Signal shells!

How curious. We are in the 1997-2003.section of the Forum, but at the Amazon site-link I see;
! This does not fit
2001 Ford F-150
Check another vehicle.
Yet, the front of your rig looks like mine, I think.
