Need some advice

Something is wrong with my truck. Seems to be extra lopey at idle.

I was driving it very hard last night. Not sure when this happened, but today it's weird. Not sure what is going on but it doesn't feel right. Feels like hesitation on accel.
I know this is really vague, but not sure what more I can do. I haven't tried to check for codes, but the cel has not come on.

My 97 will do that sometimes if I have to cram a little bit, and in my case I think it's the injectors. It will run fairly normal, but won't idle worth a darn.. My plugs and wires are good,

Check for vacuum leaks, especially the PCV elbow behind the intake. Put some Techron in the gas. See if there are any pending codes.

So..... at around 35 mph, and 1200 rpm at a cruise, truck feels like it pogos forward and back. May have a tick on what sounds to be passenger side forward of the dash....

The tick could be an exhaust leak or a damaged cam follower.

P0174 only code, nothing else pending

Honestly feels like running on 7 cylinders

More towards the end of the video you can hear it being more pronounced

Check for vacuum leaks. An exhaust leak before the upstream O2 sensor can cause a lean code. Pull your plugs and look at them. Do a compression test while they are out.

After all the work you did to put that aluminum manifold on it? At least try to figure out what's going on.

I want it fixed. Just no time, or $ to do anything anymore. I don't have the time or energy to mess with it anymore.

Oem plugs and ngk wires were done within the past 5k miles.

Hoping this isn't an issue of a dropped valve or something.

Jim,
The 174 code is lean bank 2.
It has little to do with plugs, wires or valves.
It is excess air in the intake for bank 2, or it can be an air leak just ahead of the front Ox sensor bank 2.
Either fault will be detected by the Ox sensor and shift the long term fuel table 'rich'. This set's the code.
Your giving up because you don't understand the situation.
You then become the bigger issue and do yourself in.
Re-think this, go back and check out based on what I explained and good luck.
I have been there and know this.

I just addressed the code only.
He has to do the rest whatever has to be done.
A misfire from lost ignition passes more fuel and air.
A lean condition sets a 174 code even if you include un combusted air to add to it. ..There are still 7 other cylinders firing IF that is the case.
You can't have a rich and lean code for the 'same bank' at the same time with only one Ox sensor doing the detection.
174 is shifted long term fuel tables Rich due to a lean intake condition of a false air leak ahead of the Ox sensor.
I don't know what he has, he doesn't know either.
The code does not lie.
