4wd pulls right

So I have a 2001 super crew with some difficult symptoms pulling right in 4wd

2wd no issues, tracks straight and even tire wear.

4WD once engaged the truck pulls right and I have to counter steer between 45-90 degrees. Coasting, braking the wheel straightens out. To disengage 4wd while driving I have to select 2wd and put vehicle in reverse.

On the 4wd system, everything down through actuator is tested and works fine. The actuator appears to travel full distance.

With the front end in the air and in 4wd the wheels spin in opposite directions. In the air it also easily disengages back to 2wd.

Could it be something with the select fork that just isn't an issue without load? Could it be CV related? Internal to the differential? Something funky with the suspension that only comes out when the front end is pulling?

Quite an interesting situation to say the least.
If the truck pulls to the right, it seems the right side CV or wheel is not pulling its share of the load to keep drive power balanced.
Unloaded on jack stands may fool you but under load the situation changes.
The front actuator locks up the right side axle by sliding a splined collar to cover both CV and the output of the carrier shafts.
If something odd happens the left side can still receive full drive power causing the steering to turn right if the left wheel tries to pull itself around the upper and lower ball joint centers.
Get the truck on dirt and in 4wd to see if one side is not pulling.
Even if you have to pull something to load the front to the spin point.
That should tell you something, then what is it!
The CV shaft, the bearing pack etc?
Check for a bad bearing pack by looking at the relationship of the disc to the caliper. The disc should be center of the pads. If not the bearing pack is allowing the disc jam the brake up under the weight of the truck..
With the truck jacked up you may not see any difference if the situation is 'unloaded' like that.
If this were to happen the brake pads should show unusual wear pattern that normaly can't happen.
Also if you hear a singing sound at some speed in 2wd, it may be that front bearing pack..
