I cleaned my throttle body and went to put everything together and i drop my egr valve gasket inside the intake beside the injectors. Should i worry about it? i can not see the darn thing, how could i get it out? thanks in advance.

 

You need to get it out. Are you sure it fell in? Try a shop vac and see if you can get it. Goodluck.

 

Is it inside the intake plenum or outside next to the injectors?

 

You would have had to drop it down where the throttle body mounts the intake plenum....how someone does that is beyond me.

If it is inside the intake plenum, it needs to come out before it gets sucked into a valve and causes the valve to either stick open and get smashed by a piston or well... That would be catastrophic.

Then it is just sitting down in the galley on top the block. Nothing to worry about. Pick up a new one and go about your day.
