Temp gauge inside the truck show 1/2 mark could the thermostat be stuck

Go check the two hoses for the heater core. Set the temp control to hot and turn the blower on HIGH.

If they are both HOT, the problem is in the dash (actuator, ****, blend door, etc).

If one is much hotter than the other or both are cool, the problem is either under the hood or in the heater core itself.

Unlikely.

It's a king ranch with elec controls. Drove the truck to work the heat for the first 30 mins was fluctuating back and forth. Then after that it's was hot all the way there
