Need help don't know what to do now
You have one alternator, one power steering pump, one A/C drive clutch,
one water pump, one idler pulley and a belt.
If you take the belt off and noise goes away on a test run, what would it mean?
One or more parts has a dry or faulty bearing or operation.
Good luck

I would not spend the money on an alternator if what you have is properly charging the battery. Let it whine till it starts making more expensive noises. Aftermarket offbrand alternators can be quite a crapshoot.
You can get cheap Idler pulleys for less then 20 bucks and they dont last forever. I replaced all mine a few years ago just so I knew they were good. If your doing diagnostics via parts replacement always start with the cheap stuff. Replace the idler pulley..
update truck is running like a top now new plug wires, fuel filter, belt, and alternator, found out a lot of her problems were coming from the factory muffler it was falling apart on the inside. so I cut it off and had duals with with a magnaflow muffler to give it a little growl
