97 with 3in lift. 33x12.50 or 35x12.50

I have a 3in body lift currently on my truck and it has some worn down 35s on it and was wondering if anyone might have a 97-03 with a 3in body lift and 33s that might be able to post a picture or someone with a 3in body lift and 35s that are new that I could refrence so I can decide what size tire I want to do. Maybe if anyone has an opinion on this that might want to pitch in.

So..... Do you know if it has 4WD? That would help answer the question.

Search for my truck or look in my gallery. It's a 4" lift but close enough. IMHO, 33's are the only way to go. They just "fit" the body style.

This is a 3" lift with 295/70R17. To me, this tire size is at the bottom end of acceptable as far as stance goes with this amount of lift. My earlier 315/75R16s (2nd pic) needed a chunk of the plastic valance taken out. The stock FX4 rims are 17x7.5 so they will be more tucked in than say a 17x9 with similar specs. Fender flares will also affect the overall look of your setup. I will definitely be going back with 315/70 or 315/75 once these wear out which won't be long.

To me, kingcrete's truck has the perfect stance for the 97-03 body. This is a 17x9 rim with 35/12.5 tires and I'm pretty sure it's a 3" BL.

If you have 35's on it now, and they fit, why would you downsize? The cost difference is negligible, and well, bigger IS better.

I think ill go with the 35s. I baught some 17x9 kmc rockstar rims so I think it will be a good combo and yes I too think bigger is better!

You may need to crank your torsion bars some if you haven't already to help with the wider wheels depending on their offset/backspacing.
