2003 losing coolant

HELP!! i have a 2003 f150 4.6 triton that is losing coolant. the temp gauge pegs out and I can see small amount of coolant on top of hood where overflow cap has burped, but not enough to warrant coolant loss. shop replaced head gasket, overflow cap and has done pressure test with no sign of leak. its a one owner truck and i would like to keep it.

Had to remove your other to posts. One thread per subject please as it causes a lot of confusion for those trying to help. If you need your thread moved to another forum, send me a PM and let me know.

Thanks

Take it back to where they did the headgasket. It may just be an air bubble in the coolant system. Or a water pump, intake gasket, freeze plug, etc. etc.
