Tires. Help

I have 4 tires 2 different sizes

(2)275/60r20
and
(2)305/50r20

My truck is a 2003 f150 fx4

Can I put both on my truck

the 275 on front and 305 in back? or vice versa?

Thanks!

its a different diameter tire, so 1, it will look off, and 2, youre 4 wheel drive will be a little funky. but if you have to you have to. its better than having different sizes on either side of a limited slip

the 305's are about an inch shorter and over an inch wider. could be done but do not use 4 wd. why not pick 2 outta the 4 you want most and get two to match

I'd do this. I'd put the 305's in the front to get a bit of a "stagger", but it will look a bit odd. Are they all new or used? If used, I'd really try to find others in one of those sizes (wouldn't matter what kind of tire, just get the same size). Used tires usually aren't worth mounting unless they've got a lot (50%+) of life left or you have a hook up for cheap mounting.

Copper Zeon LTZ's in 275/60/20 are right at $200 a piece at Discount Tire, just for reference.

Sounds like a good way to blow up your transfer case.

Thats what im going to do, just go pick up 2 new 275's and not bother with the 305's. The 2 tires are used but with 90% tread left. thanks for the help!

No problem! 90% is enough that you should be able to keep the new ones on the rears, skipping a rotation or 2, and then have all the tires wear the same.
