Mod ideas?

Hey guys I'm trying to decide what to do next for my truck. I'm 18, and yes my mother bought me the truck . However, I do pay for everything I add to it. I've already added 295/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers, Flowmaster SIDO exhaust, a double din Pioneer head unit, Alpine amp, and RF 12" sub. I'm looking for ideas and any feedback would be great. Thanks!

Well youve come to the right place. For starters I would ditch the door moldings and the Lariat pinstripping. Maybe some lightning heads and corners. Your off to a good start. Very clean FX4.

I'd keep the Lariat pin striping and ditch the door mouldings...

and I agree with the Lightning or XLT head lights... (I'd keep those corners though).

painting all the trim the same color black will be a bit of work but well worth it in the long run...

and then keep 'er clean and maintain it and that truck will last a long time

For starters good looking truck already. I'd ditch the molding and pin stripes. Would add lightning heads and corners, depot fogs, billet grille and lights behind grille never hurt.

Thanks for feedback! I'll definitely check into the Lightning heads, and I'll probably swap out the tails as well. What is the best way to remove the door moldings?

Warm them up and pull off. Use Goo Gone for what's left of the double sided tape

Just heat them up with a blow dryer and slowly pull them off. You can use something like dental floss or fishing line to slide between the molding and door.

Harley davidson Edition heads and Corners look good on this color, but the '01-'04 Lightning chrome tails do not...

black tails do look good on this color though I'm not 100% on the black heads and corners

Low profile black toolbox would look good if you don't mind losing a little bed space. Extra storage room too if you don't have any tools.

Just looked at ur pic again it's blurry on my iPhone lol cant tell if u already got a toolbox or u have no tailgate.. Idk what I'm seeing lol.

Ok looked at ur garage pics and see u already got one. But hey woulda been good if u didn't

It's free, and it saves your paint!

You should also get component speakers.

That's a good idea, wish I'd thought of that years ago. What did you use just a clothes hanger?

Well if it were mine, I wouldn't be able to deal with a 4.6 so I'd do a 5.4 or 6.8. Since its a 4x4 a winch is nice too.

Well I got the door molding off today, but no pictures yet due to the rain. Thanks for all the input, and now I have a never ending list of mods lol. Next on list is fixing the dent in my bed, but after that tint, Lightning or harley heads, and smoked tails in the upcoming months.

In the future:
Replacement bumper with winch mount?
Lights behind grille
Depo fogs

And I thought I was happy with the way it was
