In the future:
Replacement bumper with winch mount?
Lights behind grille
Depo fogs

And I thought I was happy with the way it was
I've had mine for 11 years and I still keep changing things. Full replacement bumpers are sweet but expensive that's why I have a hidden winch mount, at least for now.

You're right about those replacement bumpers. It's definitely a long term goal lol. I plan on keeping this truck for as long as I possibly can.

Yep, regular bare coat hangar with some spray paint (not pictured) to stop it from rusting.

I stole the idea from Patman. You may want to follow his design... it's better

I'm sure you've been asked before but,

What kind of MPG are you getting with the 6.8?
What is your new Max towing?
I think I seen that you have a tune, what is your Hp/Tq at the wheels? ..or at the FW.

MPG - about 18 on the highway with 4 people and cargo. In town - no idea.

MAX GVWR is unchanged. My limit isn't power, it's the chasis/suspension/BRAKES.

Horsepower? I just bought a Superchips and installed the canned 87 tune. It really did make a BIG difference though. HP was rated at 310 stock. Maybe with an e-fan and the tuner it's 325? TQ was rated at 425 stock, so maybe 450?

I wasn't going for big numbers or anything. It just seemed easier to find a V10 at better prices than the 5.4 at the time and it sounded like a fun and fairly unique project. I am still very pleased with the results. Other than no cruise control, it feels just like it did with the V8 but with a fair bit more power and a huge coolness improvement

I noticed in a future mod you planned on a SI/DO exhaust setup, personally IMO it won't net you any performance. If you want a good sounding and a performance bump, chop off the 'y' pipe and go true dual. It won't cost you much more money (could be cheaper if you used a DI/DO type muffler) and you gain a LOT more mid-top end power. With a dual setup, a 'x' pipe helps too, some mufflers have them built in already.
BTW, I LOVE the color of your truck with the FX4 wheels. Does yours have a sunroof?

And Mikey thanks for the compliment. I have every option but the sunroof lol. I've had a set of flowmasters on it for about a year now. The reason I went with this SIDO setup is a guy in town gave me a great deal on them. I wish I'd done them at 45 exits instead of straight out the back though

Nice rig! Really nice rig just the way it is. I like the color and the tires.

My own favorite mods that haven't been mentioned would be a backup camera, radar detector hard-wired into the roof console, dash-mounted solar panel wired to the battery, Herculiner in the bed, SilverStar or ridiculously bright LED bulbs in the fog lights, paint-to-match the front bumper cover, Gotts mod, rear fog lights... it never ends, really.

The Fogs+Brights switch mod is really cool too.

I would remove the Lariat stripe. I'm thinking about removing my FX4 stickers as well.

you can probably get your exhaust exits changed to 45's for not much $$ if you ask around. I have slash-cut dual exhaust out the right side in the stock location, painted black.

Get some front 4x4 tow hooks at a salvage yard (looks like yours are missing).

I'll probably check around on the exhaust. The reason I haven't done a bedliner yet is when we bought it, the bed was already scratched up on the inside and I just haven't gotten around to it.

And I have 4x4 hooks, I just havent put them back on from the bull bar I had lol.

Hey guys I ended up getting the front windows tinted at 20% and it looks great. Next thing I'm looking to do is change out the headlights and tailights. For the tails I'm thinking of just getting a getting a cheap set on craigslist and blacking them out. One of mine is currently cracked. As for heads I need some opinions on how these would look.
