I have a long list as well. I'm a new owner of a truck here and excited about it.

My suggestions to keep it on the cheat side is learn everything there is to know about maintaining a truck and them some more.

Go at it gradually and take your time.

you will need tool so pay attention to online sites like slickdeals dot net/ and like woot dot com or fathers day sales on sears or even homedepot or lowes and score yourself a good mechanics set containing at leats 300pcs. I got a really good kobalt set for cheap... that sale only lasted about two weeks. You can also buy cheap mechanic tools from harbor freight....like this set

they are not snap on but can do the weekend job...

The headlights came in the other day but between school and work I haven't had a whole lot of time so sorry for the cell phone picture and the dirty truck.
