2002 f150 engine issues

I have a 2002 f150 with 165000 miles on it. it has been having fit of rough running during acceleration and it sounds like a coil is misfiring. but all the coils where checked and the plugs and fuel filter changed. not sure if it can be a vacume line but i dont know how to test those. i was hoping that i would get a fault code but no luck as of yet and not sure what to do from her on out. i would like to take it to a shop but lack of funds prevents me from doing so.

would like to know if anyone has any other ideas.
thanks

motor? What plugs did you use? Anything other than Autolite or Motorcraft will set these engines off...

You woulld get a CEL if it was a vacuum issue that made it run rough. Sounds like a bad coil. The dealer could identify what one or you can just wait and eventually a CEL will trip.

It sounds like there is an intermittent miss fire and the only way is a scanner that can load test the coils. Your choice is to take it to the dealer or order a complete set of coils off e-bay that you can get for less then the price of the dealer diagnostic. You should have coil on plug ignition not coil pack.. There are many seller take your pick. Search DG508 in parts and accessory. Here is a seller and I'm not reccomending them just showing pick one yourself.
