I got my DVD unit, including Ipod cable and XM module, from Ebay for $175. Used, of course. Just keep a look out for a deal.

MGD, , been rollin' heavy at work

Cummins 4bt/nv4500 drivetrain. Roughly the same hp with little effort, more torque, should be better mileage if you can keep you foot out of it. I do rather prefer the sound of an inline diesel with a manual behind it, so I may be a little bias on an engine choice. I did enjoy the answer to people with my last truck when they asked "V8?", nope, straight 6! If the person didn't know about the engine it always was followed up with "why did you get a 6 cylinder? Would be even more enjoyable to be able to answer "nope inline 4 cylinder"...puts out more power than your V8! lol. I'd do it if I had the cash laying around, and if I would have bought a truck with a 4.2 v6 or whatever they offered that year. But for now, I'll deal with my 5.4, I'm happy with it, besides the sloshbox only option ford offered that year.

Duals..

Did putting duals on your 5.4 Triton help your gas mileage? I have a 2001 with 208,000 on and getting almost 18mpg driving to work and back a total of 50 miles per r/t.
