Fun quick projects

Patman version of Gotts intake mod https://www.f150online.com/forums/ex...ntake-mod.html

My old free mods thread: https://www.f150online.com/forums/19...free-mods.html

And then now to the new stuff......

Made a bracket for my "new" V1 out of a bracket from work

I removed the suction cups and put small screws through the plastic clip where the suction cups used to live

Put foam over the screws to keep it from scratching the glass

soldered into the overhead console power and ground wires

Final test fitting

Mounted. Its only held in by the screw that holds the visor clip

From the outside, barely visible

Talking Sorry Stealth

Take a hitch cover that was discarded by Stealth

Peel the ugly logo off of it.

Trim the oval down so it fits behind the Ford oval mount

Sand down the oval surround, and mount the emblem to both layers of plastic

They could just make the bracket longer.

FWIW tho, my friend has a V1 in his car mounted behind a plastic base on the glass and it still picks up cops just fine.
