Sometimes walking away is for the best. I was looking at a King Ranch screw earlier this week, and I just didn't like the deal so I walked. It ended up being for the best because the next day I found a 2002 screw fx4 that I liked alot better(no rust!). It was the original owner for the full 10 years and he took pretty good care of it. Had some good extras too like a remote starter, alarm system, lcd screens in the back, and a bed extender with bed cover. It is really good to be back in an F150, I've been missing it ever since I sold my Lightning several years ago.



I def. want to do some things to it in the near future. I'm thinking since it is two tone paint scheme that blacking out the wheels and the front won't look right. So I'm leaning towards chrome. The search function seems to be down on the site so I haven't been able to search for some other trucks in the same color to get a look at what others have done. I haven't seen any others yet with the red pinstripe either.
I will probably start with some 35s and some sort of small lift like a 3" body, or a leveling kit with rear shackles. I need to do more research. What are some of your ideas for this color scheme?

It's possible on factory wheels, but if you plan to change the wheel's that's when the rubbing will come into play. But with a 12.50" wide tire you could possibly have some rubbing at full lock on the frame, or on the lower corner of the valence or inside rubber fender well liner thing when turning and/or going over bumps. But those can just be fixed with a little pretty much non-noticeable trimming.
Also depending on how aggressive of a tire you chose can make a difference when it comes to rubbing. Something like an m/t tire with an aggressive sidewall will rub more than something like an a/t tire with a more street friendly sidewall.
And yup, all you have to do is crank up the factory key's to wherever you think is level, and then go get an alignment. Just so you know one side will allow you to go up higher than the other so if your going for the most lift possible you'll have to crank them both all the way up, break out a measuring tape, and then lower one side until it's level.

That sound's like a good plan man! Look for a wheel with around 4.5" of backspacing and if you ever plan to run a tire wider than 12.5" go with a wheel that's at least 9" wide.
Since your thinking about possibly lifting in a year or so, I'd almost recommend trying to find a set of used 33's so you can go to a bigger tire when you lift and not be out so much money from having to get another set of tires. And used offroad tires are pretty easily found around here and where your at considering your only about an hour and half or so away from me.
