aint never done anything internally to an engine, im gonna attempt to replace the gaskets on my 91 celica this summer to keep it going, then maybe look at what a 250k+ 4.6 needs done, from what im seeing tho i'm fearful to attempt her

If it aint broke dont fix it they say. Search P.I. head swap. Fairly straight forward and will net some gains. Basic maintenance is the best thing you can do.

Ill ry to find a link, but there was a guy a while back that tried this and his truck was down for a year or more, working through all the issues

the P.I. head swap would do you some good on that motor. but i think i saw that it has 250k on it... at that point, take it out, re-build it stick P.I. heads on it and be happy. you will be doing less work than putting a 3 valve head on that motor. and yes weve all been seen as idiots by Jbrew at one point or another!
