Well you know the old saying "better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone think you're an idiot than to open it and prove it" really applies here...looks to me like a few members on here are really uneducated on what a lightning really is but will quickly open their mouths and scream "lightning clone!" when they see a modded reg cab flareside. His truck probably has less lightning parts on it than most 97-03 members on here - he doesn't have the L heads like most people switch to, he has HD wheels, no body kit to speak of, no Lightning grille...see my point? Looks like you would be one of those people who fall for the "lightning" ads on craigslist when you see a v6 F150 flareside for sale with lightning wheels and nothing else.

And my point about him being a newcomer - "negative" comments can be given in a welcoming manner. Like "truck has potential, ditch the ricer lights though. what are your future plans for it?" Because to me, the only thing I can see that people don't like are the headlights. Those that are educated enough to know this isn't a Lightning clone, that is.

yea i can see what u all are saying about the lights but everyone has their own taste. all trucks have them in lower texas thats why.
n trust me u guys arent the only ones who doubted my 4.6. alot of chevys did too but i thought since u all were ford fans i thought u all would know a 4.6 on juice can run.
ps there 06 4 door f150 same mods as me and 100 shot hitting close to my times.
theres a bunch of fords (4.6) in lower texas on juice hitting high 13s.
theres even 4.8s chevy single cabs doing 11s

Yes, to the OP, the name calling and insults need to stop. We really take a dim view on direct insults. Also, anytime you post good times, there will be doubters until you post a picture of the timeslip. Just human nature, as some do come on with some pretty good exageration.

the 13.6 was my best .
i couldnt find the time slip but i texted this one to a friend so thats why i still had it.

i always run on slicks just i was experimenting when to spray the bottle.
