Fix that gap between the front bumper and the grille...it's easy enough to loosen the bolts, raise it, and tighten the bolts.

Keep reading your replies! There are some very knowledgeable posters in this forum and it may help you improve the truck.

See? There you go using that "I" word again!

What makes us idiots, professor? Explain that one to me, please. Is it because we didn't like your truck? Or maybe it was because we can't fathom you running a 13.6 in a quarter mile with your lightly modded, N/A, 2V 4.6L? If so, I hardly consider those requisite characteristics of being an idiot.

So in summary, because we don't agree with you in a matter of opinion, we're wrong. Right? Brilliant.

You wouldn't happen to be a Millennial, would you?

P.S. If you think your truck is 'badass', rock it out, man! In the end, you're the only one who matters anyway.

I see...you don't want input...you just want to brag and solicit awe from worshipers...sorry.

No offense intended. It's just what hid's are considered considering the fact about 99% of riced out hondas use them and think they're awesome without realizing the fact that it's like driving with your highbeams on.. all the time. Notice the excessive glare in your picture of them?

I'm glad you asked!

Let me preface this by saying there are some fine, upstanding members of Generation Y, and the following is not meant to be taken as a blanket statement, and the parents of said are mostly to blame, IMHO.

Having to 'deal' with members of said generation on a daily basis, it's apparent that many of them feel as if the world owes them something. For instance, I can't tell you how many times I've seen them EXPECT a $40k vehicle the second they turn 16. The same is true when a lot of them enter the workforce. They expect exorbitant wages the minute they walk into the door! After all, many of them have been handed the objects of their every whims all of their lives. So, it just stands to reason that it'll always be this way, right?

Additionally, many of them fly to pieces when they're disagreed with or confronted. Judging by some of his reactions, the OP in this thread has all the earmarks of a solid case in point. Their parents have never told them anything they do is really 'wrong' because they were too busy being their child's or children's 'best friend'. So, they adapt to a mindset that they never are wrong, and even if they're proven wrong, it must be someone else's fault.

There are too many other negative attributes to list, really. Again, I have not and will not say that this is true for every member of that generation. However, the trend toward such behavior is definitely prevalent and unsettling.

Some of us don't like driving at night and every car we pass looks like it has high beams on because they bought hids to have colorful headlights...

He asked for opinions and we gave them.

i agree about the headlights (anything that blue = rice, since the definition of rice was being questioned), but apparently the opinion of some on this website is that if you own a regular cab flareside and modify it, you're building a lightning clone?
I have a feeling that if his headlights weren't blue, you'd all be saying "hey nice truck man," and go on to offer some advice on where to go from here mod-wise. And I don't see why 13.6 would be so questionable when he clearly pointed out that he's spraying. You all realize a stock 2011+ mustang v6 will run somewhere around that time? Way to welcome the newcomer...

looks good, ditch the ricer lights and bring the bumper up closer to the grille.

Wrong. Like I said before, TO ME (as in, in MY OPINION) the first thing I thought when I saw the truck was 'Lightning clone'.

Sweet fancy Moses! The guy ASKED for opinions. I gave mine. And I'm the bad guy for it?

Never mind the fact that he called me (and I'm guessing anyone else who said anything negative about his truck, lights, etc) an idiot...twice. I'm the bad guy, right?

And just because a guy is a newcomer, we're supposed to lie to him? I'm really confused about that one. I guess since he's a newcomer that it's OK for him to call us old-timers 'idiots'. Ya know...since he's new here and all...

Wow.

wait... so a dropped single cab stepside truck is automatically a "lightning clone" but if you put lightning headlights on your truck like half the people on this site it's not a lightning clone? odd
