does the P1000 drive cycle reset need to be in order?
Please elaborate what am I not listening to?
the fuse is fine. I do not have any sweeping gauges.
I also posted that the scangauge2 I had happened to be able to run a command to pull a code to confirm which tests haven't passed and it appears to be pointing to the EVAP.
I asked if I had to do the entire drive cycle or is there a short cut.
Again if I'm ignorant, deaf or stupid I'd like to know so I can correct it.
Thank you

I will tell you again, you cannot run any controlled drive cycle, no short cuts, no nothing.
Once the system has been code cleared, powered down, program changed, PCM replaced or a fuse supplying the KAM is open, the program will go into retest.
BTW, gage sweeping has nothing to do with the PCM.
The dash has it's own micro processor and operates independent of the PCM.
You cannot get around it.
gOOD LUCK.
