I ordered the Depo lightning heads and corners. They should get here in a day or two. Thanks for the tips. I will post any problems with the install.

I have Anzo heads & corners. I didn't have any trouble getting the bulbs in, but I had the same problem with the screws for the corners. I swapped the speed nuts from the stock corners.

I also have the Depo clear fogs, love the look.

Would love to see pics of all of your headlights. I want to do the swap myself soon.

Here's my before and after. One was taken Christmas day, the after was taken today.

Before:

After:

Even has the diet pill before and after look, with the old lights on a dreary day, and the new lights on a sunny day.

Dude... I've been wanting to do that foreeeevvvver. Believe me.

But this is kinda bringing me to my next question. I had already intended on painting the surround white, and probably the grille black, as I don't really like other trucks that just blast you with white on the front. My question is whether I should do my bumper and bumper pad black or white. My rear bumper is black. My wheels are plastidipped, so they look flat black.

Any thoughts?

Well here is my front end:

And this is Crash's Expedition with a black grille and black bumper:

I like both, but I think the plain white with black grille and black headlights is enough to break it up.

Well dang, I like both of those, though I think I like yours better. Do you know if, on my style grille and surround, if the grille is a separate piece from the surround? That would certainly make painting them a lot easier. Did you just sand it and use Duplicolor spray and clear coat, or did you have it professionally done?

My Depo heads and corners just went in flawlessly today. I got mine from latemodelrestoration.com. Maybe a bit more than ebay, but they are depo and appear to work fine.

Yes the surround and shell separate into two different pieces. There are like 14 clips that are a PITA but its possible. Mine was professionally done.

IIRC one side you have to take the electrical connector off the bulb holder

Ah. Did you guys do aftermarket taillights, too? After seeing my truck with the L headlights, I'm starting to think my taillights look kinda funny.
