Hit a deer, what parts interchange?

Hit a deer this morning in my 2000 F150 7700. Its a 4x4 with tow hooks and foglights. I could care less about keeping the foglights if I can find a bumper in good conditon and priced right. I will need bumper, valance, grill, & grill surround for sure. I know the 97,98 bumpers are different but will they fit? I have the honeycomb grill right, not picky on what replaces that as well. Just as long as it fits. Driver side headlight is also broke.

Yea you'll have to pull all parts from either the 99-03 or 97-98 bumper, valence, and surround wise.

So can I just eliminate the fog lights and or tow hooks if I cannot find the right bumber valance? Also any special tools I need for removing the bumper, valance, grill surround if I do find one in the local yards?

I hit a deer just before Thanksgiving. Insurance gave me $3100 and I bought all the parts on one of the after market web sites for about $650. Bumper, chrome grill, 2 headlights, valance, 2 fog lights, fiberglass header panel. All the parts are made in Taiwan but old red has 165k on her, original Ford parts were about 2x the cost. Had to pull out and weld the frame/bumper mound brackets so I could re-mount the bumper. I have some found cash for Christmas presents now.

Remember the site workforbeers?
A few yards I've been to have same years expeditions with good bumpers\grills. They look the same. Do these bolt right up as well.

I'm 99% sure that an expy front bumper and grill surround will bolt up to a F-150. I think the rear bumpers may be different.

An expy grill will not fit in a F-150 grill surround (nor will a F-150 grill fit in an expy grill surround). For some reason, the grills are a very slightly different size/shape. Don't ask me how I know this.

My suggestion is that you do what it takes to fix your truck right. You have a nice truck, and if you half-*** the repair you may be sorry sometime down the road.

I hit a deer and replaced my grille and surround with salvage expedition ones...they fit right up and I kept my 2001 bumper assembly.
