Ive been wanting to swap out the 2011 F150 emblems on the side of my truck possibly on the tailgate too. I like the tailgate emblem that just says F150 but I see all of them on ebay has the part that sticks on and then it also has a clip on each side that goes into the metal. Would I have to drill into the fender to get this to attach? I guess I could cut the clips off but Im concerned the tape wont hold good enough in the rain, snow, wind etc. Thanks for any help.

 

The fender badges pins should match the old ones for the 04-08 idk about 97-03.....they're just alignment pins with no clips on the backside....so just the tape is holding them on anyways .....if the new ones pins need to be cut then cut them....

 

agreed just snip them off and 3M them on.

the badges 04-08 alignment pattern matches the 97-03 but I don't know about the 09+ f150s.
