Sorry but it's like a wanna-be thing with the superduty. Each his own I guess but you might as well go and get a superduty. Or just buy different color body panels and put them on your truck? That'll get lots of looks.

Sorry butt, that's incorrect and proves that, well, -your just not gettin it. It's not about looks at all. It's about functionality. That pull out step is handy as hell and is the main attraction IMO.

I don't do this to get looks. I do it for me and if I get looks/comments,that's a win on top. It's not that I want a superduty. I like the looks of the tailgate, use of step with my lift and other modern factory superduty accessories. I added an Expedition center console to go with my factory bucket seats. In my opinion it's not worth 25k to get the 08 superduty when I bought mine brand new and it's paid for. It's the same as adding a Kenne Belle or twenties to a Lightning or adding a lift to your truck. It's called modifying your vehicle. I see many clone musclecars out there and don't bash them. I actually like the different looks people create with their vehicles.

I like the updates of the SD tailgate and lights. It's not a poser thing, like previous poster said. It's making it your own with good mods, and making yourself happy with it.

Rus, I love your truck man!

Step is great. Tailgate looks great I don't deny you that at all. I was just saying that superduty badges on something that is clearly not is not right. It's like putting stacks on a gasser or dual rear wheels on a light-duty truck. It's just 100% homo, ask any diesel owner. But hey I not trying to offend you I love modding anything but there are so many mods you can do without putting the wrong badges on a truck. I will say no more.

I know of Superduties with the same 5.4, 4r100, 3.73 set up that my truck came with. Not all of them are diesels. There was no badge added. All of my badges still say F150. SuperDuty is stamped into the tailgate from the factory. To my knowledge they don't make a non superduty worded tailgate for the 97-03 F150 or 99-2011 F250 with a step. Also I know Superduties where people have put Cummins diesels in them. Isn't that actually a Dodge? I see no disrespect to any SuperDuty owner because of my tailgate mod.

It's the looks and functionality of it. People put HD and lightning headlights all day long in there non HD or lightning trucks. Along with bumper swaps, grill swaps, valance swaps... etc. They are both the same family trucks.... no bid deal. I like it.

Looks good. Keep the sd in the gate. It can be pulled off with the
Right mods!
