Help!!

i have a red 99 f150 xlt 4x4 extended cab. i really want to black it out.but i have a crome tool box and rails and crome bull bar/rims

so.... take them off.... get your required post count... place the "offed" items in the classifieds... and take the money to black-out away

plasti dip them.......
or paint them

i painted my chrome bumpers:



Before they where black i had them painted with dupli color shadow black chrome tint paint

First off welcome to the site. Second, search on here, there's plenty of threads on blackout trucks.

And post pictures of your truck so we can point you in the right direction towards blacking it out, but it sounds like your off to a pretty bad start with all that chrome on there.

yeah... unbolt all chrome and sell it to get black stuff. But I'm partial, as you can see

The only down side to trying to sell it is who says he will sell them? and if im not mistaken the bed bars are off of a 1989 Chevrolet C-10 Special Short Bed. If it was me, not knowing what your budget is, I would palsti-dip everything,

Plastidip, bed liner, painting w/ selfetching primer etc. Plastidipped my rims bedlined my rear bumper. Since my bumper is getting stepped on alot I chose not to plastidip it.
