Power door Locks and Cruise Control???

Well this is really the first problem i have ever had and its getting annoying.

When i put the truck in gear the door's use to always lock and my cruise control would work. Lately its getting to where the doors wont lock when i put it in gear and when the doors dont lock the cruise doesnt work. Sometimes it takes up to 20 mins of driving for the doors to lock and then my cruise works. The last 3 days they havent locked at all.

I can hit the button and the doors will lock but still no cruise. Keyless entry works great. I was thinking it could be the brake switch but it seems like everything is ok.

Does anyone have any idea's?

Thanks

Any special way to check the brake switch? My Brake lights are working and its was replaced maybe a year ago as my brake lights were not working.

I'm certain you have had the cruise recall done, but unplug the harness from the disconnect switch and check the actual switch for ANY sign of brake fluid leakage.

Yesterday when leaving work i pushed down the brake pedal as far as it would go and ever since then the cruise and auto lock feature has worked fine. Drove the truck about 110 miles after work and every time i started it up and put it in drive the door would lock and had cruise. So wondering if it could still be the switch or something else?

possible, or you have a chaffed wire, i bet you pulled up on the steering wheel to jam the pedal down, maybe switch, maybe wiring that you pulled off its chafe point slightly

I have a 04 Lincoln Navigator, like the Eddie Bauer Exp.

Been trouble shooting all the other problems, and sorted them.

Anytime I restart engine, I have to drive for about 5 minutes. The Auto Door Locks will lock doors, then Cruise Control will work normal, until I turn it off. Then another 5 minute wait for Auto Door Locks.

Any ideas?
