Removing Body Side Moldings
Spend your money on an eraser wheel, you can find them online for under ten bucks. I did mine awhile back and one side came off almost with all the double sided tape so I only needed to use a little goo gone on that side but the other side came off with all the double sided tape on my truck and that was not worth the effort to use goo gone.
Super Crew are $120 on LMC.com
buffer to get it perfect, but it is totally worth it.
Can't say that I have. I think people use eraser wheels for that. I know my buddy had some factory pin stripe removed from his 08 impala SS at a body shop for like $20 and it took only like 10 mins. The paint looked the same as well.
any of you guys run into anything behind the moldings? i was gonna peel mine off my supercrew but when i started peeling back on my driver rear door, looked like some black plastic partially recessed into the skin of the door. anyone ever seen this before?
I'm thinking about taking mine off too, except I have one question..
Since my truck is bright red, do you think I'll see any differences in the color of paint behind the molding? From sun fading and all? and I don't want to rip it off and have even brighter red behind the molding...

You can usually polish the truck and make it go away but you may still see it alittle if you look close.
