How good is this lift kit???

I was looking around for lift kits and i was gonna go with the fabtech 7.5 for my 2wd 98 f150 but when i found this one it seemed a little more in my price range because im only 16 with a part time job. Its a 6.5 inch lift and i was just wondering how good it is, does it come with all the parts that i would need and if i get it could i also add a 1.5 inch level to make it 8 inches total???
well here it is

Never heard of it, probably not a good thing...
I would just be concerned that the parts and such are made of good precision quality material.

Just did a quick google search of results and reviews from people who have used the spring tech kits.. The general consensus seems to be that most eventually removed them and upgraded to a better lift like fabtech due to the horrible drive ability of the kit.

I'm not sure why everyone seems to hate on these lifts. I've been running it for almost 20k now and no problems with it at all besides the included shocks are crap. Buxton91 also has this lift, and I think there's about 6 other people on here with it.

And the guy's who wheel fell off, didn't he beat on the truck like trying to jump it? Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Either way the springtech lift is the same as the canuck motorsports which is the same as doestch. Doestch has great reviews on there's the only difference is its reboxed under a different company. How do I know? Because people have ordered the springtech control arm lift, including the control arms that came with mine and it had a doestch label on it.

You can run stock rims as far as I know. I forgot who but someone did on here. And yes you can throw a 1.5 daystar on there with it. Look up Buxton91's profile on here. He has pics of his truck at like 1.5" all the way up to I think he sits at 9.5 or 11" now, and he has this lift.

Yea he has one too. And I replaced them with bilstein 5100's at about 16k on the ones that came with it.

I'm more than pleased with mine! Yes I also have a 3" body lift as well. For shocks I'm just running RCX Nitro 9000's for now until I add the spacer back to the front end. They are pretty decent shocks for the price I paid, but definitely nowhere close to bilsteins. Yes you can also add a spacer to it as well. A 2" spacer will put your angles to what a factory truck would be with a 1.5" level.

Just because the lift is not 2000.00 dollars moment mean its no good. Im a little bias because i just bought one. I think just as long as you don't enter your truck in the baja 1000 you'll be fine.

You want bilstein 5100's, make sure you look at the ones for 2wd. I ordered mine from polyperformance.
http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...s-p-19260.html
I got the ones for a 3" front lift, but if you plan on throwing a spacer on there with it you'll be at 4.5" of lift (not including the spindle which doesn't effect the shock) so you could either go with the 3" or 6" front ones. As for the rear, I haven't replaced those yet because I'm saving up for a set of fox shocks.

They are a good brand, my uncle had a springtech 2/4 drop on his 02 F150 and it rode better then stock.
