To fit 37's i need 6in's right?
Well considering that you are gonna do a solid axle swap than I would venture to say that you are gonna wheel it so that wont be enough room to flex it out... But if you were gonna do a 6" maybe get some cut out bush wacker flares that way you could easily fit 37"s and still keep a low cog for wheeling.
I fit 37x13.5's on just a 6 inch lift with minor trimming. No room to flex much but I don't go off road. I do go camping and take gravel roads quite a bit though. You have to have the right offsiet wheel. No rubbing at full lock either. Never an issue with it for 2 years...

Im getting the axles from my boss... hes converting his SD to rockwells, and the leafs he has on his axles clear his 37's...
its a Dana 50 and a sterling 10.5
Probably 8 inch springs, being for a SD your ride will suck and probably give you a lot more lift due to stiffness and how light your truck is. Also you will gain lift from your spring perches so id look into other springs or customize those
They could possibly be 6" springs. It doesn't take much to clear 37's on a SD. OP: Do you know what size springs they are? 6" will probably give you about 8-10 inches and 8" probably around 12".
