pizzaman711's build thread!
Well, I figured since I'm always doing something different to my truck instead of starting a new thread everytime I'd just make a build thread so I could update from here!
Here's some background on the truck:
I bought it almost two years ago the day I turned 17 for $4000 with only 22k miles on, sweet deal I know!

The day I picked it up from the original owner
Next thing I did was chop the muffler off, and started moving on to audio. I got an alpine 9884 deck and started going through subs and amps like it was out of style until I decided on a Hifonics Brutus 1210 amp and a Kicker CompVX 15" sub.
Next thing I did was add some neon lights underneath (these are gone now kinda grew outta them fast)

Probably one of my favorite shots of it with them right here, they cam before the lift though
Then came the lift, its a 6.5 springtech lift

The day the install was finished along with the new wheels and tires (Ion Alloy's with some Mastercraft Courser M/T's)
Now it was time to put a muffler under it, I went with a magnaflow si/do turned out behind the wheels

And of course no truck is complete without a catchy sticker on the back haha

Thanks to my friend and his dad for making it for me!
Next came the dixon bro's front prerunner bumper! This was the first step to chrome removal and long travel build!

(First day I installed it)

(After It was painted and the hella 500ff's were put on)
Then I decided to ptm the grille, install towing mirrors, and the Glassworks 4.5" fenders

After that I removed the side molding and painted the rings on the wheels red

Then came time to finish off the chrome, I painted the rear bumper. Then ditched the old rear window sticker and with a set of dezertrangers, ford racing, and VCU sticker instead. Since this picture was taken I ditched the plastic bedliner and went with one of those roll on ones

Then for some reason I decided to install hid's (these lasted about a week)

Notice the excessive glare
And now today I installed a set of ebay projectors, they actually work nice and I only paid $50 for them because they were open box so not too bad of a deal for a birthday present to myself haha

(and yea i know the hood looks weird, it had just stopped raining when I took this haha)
And thats the truck now, two years later with about 56k on the odometer now
Plans for it include:
1. 4.56 gears
2. Dixon Bro's rear Bed Cage
3. Deaver F49's and a set of 2.5 16" FOA Remote Resi's
4. Rear Fiberglass (already have it)
Let me know what yall think! And if you'd do anything to help make it look better or advice on anything else!
Oh, and here's a link to the front fiberglass install incase anyone decides to do it:

Thanks man! Those were actually 6k's haha. The glare from them at night was outrageous from it sitting up so much higher than most cars so I got flashed all the time so I decided to pull them out haha
I'm assuming 8k won't be as bright because its closer on the spectrum to true black than 6k, and lowered you won't be nearly as bad because your headlights won't be eye level or above eye level from most oncoming traffic I would think.
pizzaman truck look awsome as always cant wait to see the bed sides installed with the bed cage.

x2! I love pre runner style trucks. My dream project truck is a pre runner style (cab and bed caged, front a rear fiberglass, pre runner bumpers, etc.) only with a SAS in front for rock crawling. Almost like a king of hammers truck but not as gnarly.
Keep up the good work pizzaman! Looks dope!

You and me both man! haha, I just gotta decide on the color I wanna repaint it, I've narrowed it down to a metallic pepsi can blue, flat lime green, or a gloss orange ha
First off, I do not like lifted trucks at all. BUT if I ever had to lift mine, you have the PERFECT look that I would go for! Completely awesome
I love the sticker on the rear window, why'd you ditch it??
Props to you man. Most people, especially in lifted trucks blind the crap out of people
Doesnt matter, PnP HIDs in a stock halogen reflector housing is just asking for problems

Oh, I loved the sticker too haha but for some reason every cop hated it probably because most had daughters and I realized when it went on I went from not getting pulled over at all to about once a week with them just fishing for something for a ticket. Still haven't got one yet (knock on wood) but I decided it wasn't worth the risk ha.
And yea I never really noticed how bad the hid's were till I had my friend park in front of me in his car and I cut them on, dear lord I'm surprised someone didn't die in the week I had them from the blinding glare. Those ebay projectors really do good for the price they have a nice smooth cut off and I don't mind the halogen because the output of those is uncomparable to my yellowed out stock lights.
