I really like the Black and machined v-tec warlords . Probably gonna go with an 18x9 with -12 offset. I'll just go with a set of used 35's for now. I just found out how cheap fiberglass fenders are (Plus they will cover most of the damage I have), so I'm gonna be buying a set of those sooner or later. After those go on I'll take the step up to 37's.

Here is the wheels I'm looking at,

Those are some pretty sweet rims

I had this same problem last year when I got rear ended and my frame got bent so I figured they were going to total it and I had some other newer truck I was looking at. Then I got it to the body shop and they ended up fixing everything for $3700 but The frame will never be the same and Its probably on my trucks record for the rest of its life

Yeah I think I'm going to do away with all of the chrome as well If I can ever find a 99+ bumper and grille.

Yeah the total was getting pretty close to half of the value. I think the grand total came out to around $2150. This quote was for all paintless dent removal if that give you an idea of how many dings there are. haha The adjuster said he could of quoted for full r&r of the body panels and paint but then they would have to total it. When it came down to it this has been a great truck for many years and still has a ton of life and potential left so I couldn't be able to live with myself seeing it getting towed away and hauled to an auction. Let's face it some punk 16 year old kid would get it and it would be totaled or a mud monster by the end of the year. So needless to say I had no choice but to keep the old girl. The good thing is that besides the roof, the cab of the truck has maybe 10 small dings, so when I go with fiberglass fenders and bedsides most of the damage will be gone anyways. As for the roof (insurance quoted about $600 worth of repairs on it), reallistically who is ever going to be able to see the top of the cab on this thing?

Well looks like I'm not going with the 18" warlords. Found a guy locally selling a set of 20" MB Gunner 5's machined/black. So we will see how they look on 35's.

Yeah I'm hoping the machined and black will be a whole lot easier to keep clean than polished wheels. My God talk about a pain!
