A local shop built me a custom box and they used some brackets to lift the seat like an 1 inch and a half or 2 inches. Here is another pic. I wish I was home to get a pic of the bracket.

I just finished this box for 12s to fit snug as a bug behind the seat of my 2000 f150 regular cab.
