Hydrogen Generator

Has anyone heard about this technology and actually tried Hydrogen generation technology? If so, what were your results?

if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. with the claimed 60& gains, youd imagine every gashog around town would have one. and so far, i haven't seen one.

The best way to get the answer to your question is use the Adsvanced Search button. It has been discussed several times.

I would say we've seen maybe a hundred of these scams over the years. None have produced anything but a lighter wallet. The originator of the "hydrogen" fuel for your engine is a man by the name of Brown. Brown was from Australia and "created" the so called technology for the hydrogen generators. He is no longer allowed to do any business in Australia if that gives you a clue. Hydrogen has about half the BTUs of the gas you are getting at the pump. Very few of the generators take into consideration the added fuel that is going in the engine via the intake. There will be no fuel mileage increases. But it's like a guy that buys a new Dodge or Chevy, he's gonna say it's the greatest because he spent far more money for a POS than he should have and is not about to say- I'm an Idiot. So the ravings of the last high dollar gas prices are just that-ravings. Of the units I've seen that actually meter the incoming fuel, none offer any fuel mileage increases without increasing emissions far beyond what is acceptable or certifiable. If emissions were not an issue, fuel mileage increases could be had without the hydrogen crapola. But the units did have one good feature. The water that was introduced into the engine provided for a squeaky clean engine. Water mist is probably the best carbon remover known to man in a combustion chamber. Save yer money, make sure to use the right API viscosity oil for your engine, use a decent name brand gas, make sure it's tuned up correctly, and enjoy the ride.

Short answer, it doesn't work.

Besides the hardware, you cannot generate enough gas volume to be of any benifit.
A small engine at even 2500 rpm moves a lot of air through.
Can you make enough hydrogen gas to achive the proper air to gas ratio then meter it in?

Wow! Thanks for the replies I figured it was a rip off. Everyone I talk with has never heard if it. I even spoke to an attorney friend of mine who is a patent attorney and he looked it up and said it didn't exist.

hence the "patent pending" part of it...
