Now you just need a 99+ bumper
Actually those ball joints are very tapered, and they are actually seated the way they are supposed to be. There are supposed to be spacers in there also, but some places dont use them. Unless he starts catching air they arent going to come unseated though, so its fine.

99+ bumper x2.. everyone's doin it.

They are seated it's just the stud on those bj's are longer than the ford ones so it just looks like it.

As for the front end, sometime in the next week or so I'm gonna box in the frame rails and weld on some D-ring mounts until I can get the extra time and money together to do the 99 bumper and grille swap. I keep checking c-list looking for a grille and bumper to pop up but have had no luck.

Someday I will. The main problem is I want the honeycomb grille and all I'm finding on c-list are the h-bars. Then with bumpers they are all the 2wd valances and I want the fx4 with the foglight cutouts. Trying to find em from a private seller because if I buy at the junkyard it's gonna run me about $300. The closest u-pick junkyard is in orlando which is about an hour drive. But it might be worth it to go up there one day and pull them myself and save some cash in the process.

Maybe after I regear to 4.56's. I was thinking about buying either 18's or 20's and I might step up the tire size when I do that.

Yeah, I'm not sure why but they are just crazy with prices. The u-pull it LKQ's have great prices but like I said the nearest one is a little over an hour drive. I'll just have to wait until one day when I got the time to go over there and get them, might even scoop up an Expy console and buckets while I'm there.

Yeah I'm sure shipping would offset the cost greatly.

Haha I've pretty much grown out of that phase, but on the occasional trips I take it out I know my limits and try not to push them too much. lol Just for safe measures we always make sure there is a truck behind me to be able to pull from my hitch though.
