Its been quite a while since I've been here and I'm sorry for that, but I wanted to share a photo of my son's Ipad install in his truck. His project has taken way to long to finish but the kid is 23 and sometimes its hard to motivate him to work on his own stuff. At some point during the project he decided to give the interior a mini make over. In addition to the custom console he built he also decided to redo his door panels and seats, which are still being worked on. I'm going to try to get him to finish at least 90% of it this week so I can at least share more photos of what he has done. For now however this is the only photo I have of the Ipad sitting in the custom made dash panel that he made for the install. I have to say having an Ipad in the dash is pretty cool , and although I'm sure its a more common mod on the West Coast, here in the East its pretty rare to see, just like bagged trucks.

If your son made iPad 2 molds like that, I'd totally buy one.

Here are a few pics of the custom door panels we just did for the truck. Originally when we built the truck the door panels were paint matched to the dash in a Navigator color, but since we were building the custom console and adding component speakers to the door panels we decided to leather wrap the panels themselves and we added some Bently style Diamond pleated suede to the panel. I think it adds a little luxury to the cab. We'll be completely changing the seats out to this style soon also.

Enjoy.
