Mine had the same problem. No heat when accelerating (waler sloshes back and doesnt reach heater core) but when smooth or slowing down it fills it up

I was going to say check water level, or maybe your thermostat is checking out on you.

It does real good plowing. I have 400 or so pounds of sandbags in the back, and run a 7'6" plow, and it does pretty good. Gas mileage blows, but I made a killing off the storm yesterday, so Im not too upset.

Back onto the truck topic... Suddenly my heat came back for a minute, after 12 hours of plowing with no heat. Then it left again. This morning it has been off and on...

Im lost.

Are both of the heater core hoses hot?

You could have a problem under the hood, water not getting to the heater core. Or you could have a problem in the cab, air not going through the heater core.

Maybe if the blend door was broken, the impact of hitting the snow could have closed it and cut off the heat?

Both hoses are hot to the heater core. Im just not sure, as the heat randomly works. I would think if the blend door went to ****, it would be completely gone.

UPDATE: My heat has suddenly came back to its normal state. Im thinking just a random air pocket got to the heater core. The million dollar question is how did I get a pocket in a system that doesnt have a bleeder valve?
