positive ignition signal

Question positive ignition signal

i have a 97 f150 4.6l
im hooking up electric fans. now i am stuck on a good positive ignition signal. b/c if i let the fans cool off till temp preset they run down my battery.
so i need them to turn off with the truck. i am useing a hayden controller #3647 need to hook up the yellow wire to positive ign. help!!!!!!!!!!!

You can either run a wire to a switched power source behind your radio, or you can use a fuse tap and go to you fuse box and find one that has power when the key is in the run position.

The radio slot in the fuse panel is a good place for a hot in run / accy without the delay ( 15 min or until you open your door ).

This is if this is just a low amp trigger ( similar to the PPI & FAL kits need ).

The add-a-fuse in the radio slot is a good place to add this in, the original fuse goes back in position #1, and a 1 A fuse in position #2.

thanks, i used a add-a-fuse and tap in to ip/blower under the dash
i think it was number24 works great
